Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Grizzly's is a great little neighborhood bar/restaurant. They serve up some great food here and have a fairly unique menu. The decor is sort of sports bar meets hunting lodge. The usual crowd is very friendly and if you live in that area, you always see a neighbor or a friend in there. A lot of off-duty fire fighters and paramedics hang out here, so if you choke on a chicken bone...you are in very good hands! Grizzly's is well known for their pizza which is of the square thin crust variety. Sort of like Ledo style pizza, but it tastes much different from Ledo Pizza. I like to order the Grizzly pizza, which is basically a supreme pizza loaded up with toppings. My favorite menu item would be their burgers. They make a burger called the Momma Bear (almost everything on the menu has a bear theme to it's name) which is a thick burger topped with Swiss cheese, grilled onions and sauted mushrooms. Excellent! My other favorite burger is called the Brother Bear and is topped with chili. A bowl of their chili ordered by itself is always great too. They also make some great wings here. I normally get the Old Bay wings which come out crispy on the outside, moist on the inside and with a great Old Bay taste to them. Their hot wings are of the wet messy variety and are always good. If you are feeling brave, and I MEAN BRAVE, try their suicide wings. Also, of the wet messy variety. The first time I ordered them, the waitress gave me a double-take and asked me "are you sure you want suicide?". I said "Hell yeah, how bad can it be!?". Well, it was pretty damn hot. The hottest wings I have ever had actually. I have had very hot "novelty" wings from places before, that are all heat and no flavor...these wings have a great flavor to go along with their tongue melting heat. To deal with that heat, Grizzly's offers a draft beer mug that is huge. It takes two hands to lift the thing up to your mouth, but is just the thing to go with really hot wings. That beer goes awfully quick if you have a plate of suicide wings in front of you. There are a number of other appetizers, sandwiches, and a few entrees on the menu and they are always good. The service here is always great too...fast and friendly. They also have an outdoor deck seating area here and live entertainment or DJs on various nights. If you are in the neighborhood, stop in to Grizzly's for a great place to hang out, eat, and drink.

Nice little dive. I have ate there twice. I have tried the pizza, wings, and fried mushrooms. All were good. My wife had the momma bear burger. Great flavor. The fries were really good. lots of open tables at lunch time. I assume they do more business in the afternoon and at night. I hope so because I plan in frequenting more often.

Sad state of affairs here. Came in with 11 people. Tried to order drinks and instead the bartender wanted to check everyone's ID. Not as we ordered. But before she would serve anybody. Good job on checking IDs but inefficient considering only half ordered a beer. We wanted food. And sodas. Got the big nope. Food is shut down. French fries maybe. If the cook hasn't shut off the fryers yet. Missed three people on drinks and decided that her boyfriends dinner and drink order was more important than the guests at the bar. Thought the kitchen was closed. Ignored the man who ordered his beer first with money in hand leaning on the bar. Closing time was not close. What's going on here. Used to have great pizza and bartenders who liked tips. I guess she assumed that this bunch of guys were white trash and weren't gonna tip. 1/2 right. I'll keep my tip. And here's a tip. McDonalds is a block away. I'll go to Shady Oaks Bar in District Heights before I will ever come here again. At least they have a friendly atmosphere.

The best nachos if had in 32 years, the pulled pork sandwich is good to great when I try it, the wings are decent however I always wondered why places that serve wings or food in general...if your wings that u serve at your establishment are not YOUR favorite wings...you're doing it wrong and if they are not your favorite you need to change up some things to make all of your food items the best in town. The wings are decent here but I don't have to have them. Wings to steal ideas from: P.J. Whelihans Hot & Honey, Jaspers Tiger Wings, Buffalo Wing Factory's hot wings, even Hooters hot wings are good and Outbacks hot wings as well. The wings here are good but have room for improvement.

The food is fantastic the service suck's,, the women there are just rude or red necks, and yes I've tried the more than once, the 1st time I went there I walked in and didn't know if I seat myself or not, my husband went to the rest room cane back and I was still standing there at least 4 women standing at the bar, and know one said anything to me, we left, I've been back and I have never had some one to say hello welcome, come on in never, But they have a automatic 18 percent added to your Bill,, one per or more,

I love this place if only for the Porky's revenge pizza and large beverage sizes. The blue cheese burger ain't bad either and the potato boats with homemade chili. Avoid the nachos at all costs! If it weren't for the fact that I feel epic poos every time I eat there they. Might be ok. Save your cash Foo Lee's next door.

A friend and I came in to get carryout. Our presence was hardly acknowledged although the entire restaurant was empty and there were only two people at the bar. It looked as if the staff members were off of work as the cook (I guess since he had on a white apron) and 2 other staff members just standing around. The bartender dryly greeted us and asked for our order. I asked if she thought the pricing of the fries was right since a basket was $2.95 but fries with Cheese & bacon are $ 7.95 ..... Read it again. $7.95 !?!?! So I ask don't you think that's ridiculous- just wondering if she sees anything wrong with a $5 up charge for cheese & bacon. She proceeds to tell me that she doesn't make the prices -which is understandable- abs that they charge $1 for each topping. So I say : yea but it's not an extra $2 which would be totally reasonable but instead it's $5. More than double the cost of the fries themselves. She then explains that cheese and bacon are Very expensive.....so I say: Ummmmmm no they aren't. Not at all. Both are very cheap I am a restaurant manager who orders food 4 times a week in DC at a 4 + star restaurant dont feed me shit and call it pudding ok! The final straw -after I informed her of this she turned around and walked away. So did I right out the door. Don't go here. A completely empty restaurant at 7pm is a bad sign. I highly don't recommend it.

Best wings I've ever had in my life. This restaurant is not located in the best area, and parking can be a nightmare at times, but the WINGS... soooooo good. Get some. Any flavor. They will not disappoint. Minus one star because the service is not so great. My husband and I were the second table filled in the place and it took a while to get drink refills.

Visited around 12 on a Sunday, there was only 1 other table, but the AC was out and it was HOT. We had some tired and hungry kids so went for it anyway, figured how bad could bar food be and it was easier than going somewhere else. Easier, maybe, but not the best choice. Waitress was rude. Threw stuff on the table, snapped at us, never asked how we were doing, refilled drinks, and had an attitude about everything. I guess because it was so DAMN hot in there, which she kept telling the other table of two guys. I swear like a sailor in front of my kids, and sure we're in a bar, but there's no need for your colorful-language bitching and complaining, thanks. I actually said to my husband "we pay her today, you think she'd get over herself a bit we didnt make it hot." We told her that the soda machine CO2 was out, and she's like thats how it is! Ok, then. Later, she asked some other guy to change it... not sure why she believed someone else but not us that something was wrong, but never came over to offer us more drinks (they were totally flat), and we paid for the honor of nasty beverages. And to our knowledge, there is no caffeine in Fanta Birch Beer. When we ordered it for the kids shes like NO thats loaded with caffeine! It's not, and even it it was, that wasn't the way to address the concern. Food- Nachos- I actually liked the presentation of the mound of chili/cheese/toppings with the chips mostly on the outside. No soggy mess in the middle! But the chili had a really off flavor- hubby thought it was tequila? Beer? I didn't care for it and it made me wonder if food poisoning was in my future (thankfully, no, not yet anyway). Pizza - hubby was happy enough with his pizza- decent cheese/toppings. I don't like that kind of crust (square, flat, like Ledos) so did nothing for me. Chicken wings - Scrawny. Kids meal of them had no sauce. Very little meat on them bones. Chicken tenders - Standard frozen ones, came way overdone. Insult to injury- we get the bill, and it looks larger than expected. He reads carefully to determine that 20% (!!) gratuity has already been added. For a party of 5, which includes three kids?! Well, I bet their cash register automatically adds it for you when you type in "number of guests: 10." So Princess Attitude still got her ($(@#)$ money. Fine, honey, but never again.

If you dont want to be disappointed then just order a beer and buffalo wings...

I disagree, the pizza is terrible. We ordered a standard cheese, it tasted like they spread Chef Boyardee over saltine crackers and Kraft slices then nuked it in a microwave. The beer selection is average and overall the place is quite dirty and very dark. The happy hour prices were reasonable and the murals on the walls are campy. But this is a bar to skip.

I live only 3 minutes away from Grizzly's, so one day I decided to pop in and see what was going on inside (I'm the adventurous type). My first thoughts on walking into this establishment was that it was like walking into a pirate-ship, in the most positive way. Everyone knows each other and if you don't know somebody they'll get to know you quick. I ordered a pizza and my friend ordered the buffalo wings. A+++ The pizza is amazing! Probably the best pizza I've ever had in my life!!!! ...now they just need to clean the bathrooms up a bit.

This little bar with about 15 tables serves American food. I had lunch there with a few friends. The place was empty on a Saturday afternoon, TV on loudly at the bar, playing a Spiderman movie. No other customers. I ordered a grilled chicken salad, french fries, and a large iced tea. The tea was okay, the fries an ample serving of jumbo frozen types that were pretty yummy, and as the waitress promised, not overly salty. Their brand of ketchup, however, was swill. The chicken consisted of about 6 ounces of old, dry, salty, and otherwise tasteless crumbly small bits of breast meat on a bed of cellophane-package mixed greens. The balsamic vinegar was overly viscous and tasted like it had a lot of artificial ingredients. My tab, with a 15% tip, came to about $18, which, for the quality, was about $12 too much, in my opinion. The place has two types of dining room seating, and we unknowingly selected booths with exceptionally uncomfortable wood benches. About 4 feet closer to the entrance were ample tables that had better chairs. I politely asked our waitress if we could move, and she replied that she preferred not to have customers any further away from the kitchen. As I mentioned, the place was empty, and the alternative seating would've caused her to walk an extra 4 feet. In short, the waitress was clueless. I shouldn't have left her nearly 15%, but the service was otherwise acceptable. My friends had big hamburgers that looked better, and they liked them. I'd try them next time if I were inclined to revisit the place, but I probably never will because my entree was poor, overpriced, and the waitress unaccommodating for no acceptable reason. I don't recommend this place. There aren't too many good restaurants in this part of PG county, and I wanted to eat at the Chinese restaurant in the same shopping center since I've had their carry-out a few times, and it is much better than average. But one of our party recommend against sitting in the Chinese place, because it happens to be a gang hangout, and I could indeed see a few unsavory individuals loitering there.

This is a local bar in the spirit of local neighborhood bars. I have never experienced poor customer service here. The staff have always been pleasant. The food is good. It's bar food. Not Friday's or Ruby Tuesday. I usually get a burger or wings. I'm very particular about pizza. I have been there when it was very busy. There was a Redskins game on so it was crowded. Even then the staff were friendly despite being very busy. Love this place.

We only started visiting this place recently due to its proximity to where we are living temporarily. In a common unassuming strip plaza off of Rt. 301, this little bar/restaurant is serving up some square thin crust pizza, plenty of bar fare and cold beers, almost always with great service and friendly faces. The beer list leaves a bit to be desired (i.e., only serving very few selections, all domestic and typical... a bit behind the times I'd say) but there is something to be said about a place that keeps it simple. The bowling game at the bar is beyond addicting and the TV's always have something fun to watch on. Add some better beers to the menu and we might tell a few of our friends to come :)

The pizza is junk, but most of the rest of the fare is ok.
